Just wanted to share this heartwarming story. Kids from a Primary school in China, reached out to their twin school in the UK when they found out the UK was urgently in need of face masks. The Datong school community was able to gather 6500 face masks, which are in transit to the UK at the moment to help out British health care workers.
The masks will be distributed by NHS Hero Support to healthcare workers in need of safe equipment.
This is just an extraordinary story of people reaching out the hand of friendship to each other and reminds us we are one community, all facing this pandemic together.
