I was in a park in the north of England looking for a heron that I had just been trying to photograph when a local dog walker approached me and said there was a nest of coots over there with little baby chicks.
To be honest, I had no clue what a coot was. After a short walk, I managed to find the nest at the edge of a lake and made a short video of the baby chicks with their mom.
