I've had this mixer for maybe 5 years now. in the beginning, I bought it from habitat for humanity (the thrift store). When I plugged it in, it started making a worrying burning smell. I cleared out the dust and the burning smell stopped.
But another problem took its place. The bowl was bent. I started bending it back into shape with my bare hands. when I was done, the bowl looked like new.
This mixer is my favorite thing I own, and I'll never sell it.
