A while ago, I spotted a London Underground Ticket Barrier happily singing the chorus to Blur’s Song 2 #WooHoo, so for my own amusement, filmed it, edited to the video - and was shocked to find it was in the same key.
I asked the internet if there were other everyday things happily singing and performing songs whilst we obliviously wander by.
That video went viral. Even Blur loved it.
But I had the 'difficult second album' problem - what could I follow it up with?
Well, it's taken 6 years and two came at once;
1. Almost in my own backyard, an elderly neighbour’s Garden Sprinkler hammering out the iconic New Order "Blue Monday" drum pattern.
2. Music industry expert @NickHalkes spotting a moving walkway at London’s Heathrow Terminal 3 banging out Johnny Marr’s legendary riff to The Smith's "How Soon Is Now"
But there MUST be more. If you spot anything, please send them to me @RitchAmes for my own amusement, if nothing else.
