All of my life I have felt a bit of an outsider in my environment. Travelling between Estonia and Russia half of my life, I could never fit in anywhere. It was hard, because I felt I had the best of both worlds, but almost nobody in those worlds could appreciate that.
When I was 26, I came to Japan as a student. The old story of being an outsider because of something I didn't choose to be, started again. Often it could be great and advantageous, but sometimes it would make me feel lonely and misunderstood.
So I decided to pour out my emotions in the best way I knew - by Art. I drew this book - called "MIA AND THE APPLE KINGDOM" and I hope that it can bring a smile to your face :).
