I Draw Realistic Portraits Inspired In Pictures I Find Online

My name is Gerda, I'm a Brazilian marketer currently living in Berlin. Ever since my childhood, drawing and sketching has always been a hobby for me - but like many hobbies, and one grows older, we tend to let them aside due to other grown-up responsibilities.

Over the last year I have decided to re-awake my passion, and have started my own project, called Gerdão Art (a playword with my name). The project is about drawing realistic portraits. These are normally pictures I find online, and can also be from friends who send me their own picture (have been focusing more on the latter lately).

Most of my work is made with B&W pencil, but I also enjoy experimenting with other materials, such as Watercolor and Charcoal.

I enjoy taking pictures of the drawing process (you can find that on my Instagram), how a white paper slowly turns and shows someone else's face - and therefore, their soul.
