A few years ago I started drawing tributes to celebrities as soon as they passed away. I continue to do this today. This past year (2016) has been an incredibly sad year for celebrity passings. David Bowie, Prince, Carrie Fisher, and others... I try to get the tribute up as soon as I can after finding out that the celebrity or world leader has passed away. It takes a little time to confirm the death, research images and then do the illustration. I work on the illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and using my mouse as my tool. I do not use a tablet to do my illustrations. Most of the illustrations take between a 1/2 hour and an hour to complete. I feel the pressure to do these as fast as I can. I have a few followers that pride themselves in letting me know that a celebrity has died and I need to get on it! Visit my website and you will see I do much more than celebrity tributes.
