I'm an artist and illustrator living and working in beautiful west Wales. In 2015 I started a project of drawing animal totems or spirit guides inspired by a family member's blue siamese cat. I have since created 39 more animals and the project is still going strong.
The animals have a sense of realism but are vibrantly coloured and include symbolic patterns and textures, each totem comes with its own meaning and inspiration. They are painstakingly drawn with Prismacolor pencils on black Strathmore Artagain paper.
I plan to create an Oracle Card Deck featuring all the artwork when the project is finally finished!
