I Created This Painting After Seeing The St. Lucia Amazon Parrot In The Wild. I Tried To Capture A Little Of That Beautiful Moment.

It all started in 2014 when I I had been hiking in the St. Lucia rainforest when suddenly I heard this familiar parrot cry followed by a pair of parrots flying towards a mango tree filled with ripe fruit. This image has been tattooed in my mind and now in a silk batik.
