Tom Crean was the guy they called for when things were going south. Having studied his life and career over the past 15 years, I kind of know his story, and I put my findings into a biography that was published in 2023. I'm still left awestruck by this guy's bravery and his lifesaving exploits in the coldest place on our planet - Antarctica.
