I got a Wacom tablet from my best friend. She knew that I work with Photoshop and sometimes I like to draw something, just small nothings. One day I got an idea to create a book for kids about a cat‘s day.
Why cat? Why book? Who somebody would buy such book when all bookstores are full of kids‘ books? I‘ve discussed it with myself and asked: why not? I‘m working in a printing house, I‘m a graphic designer, so really why not? And so I started to draw. At first on paper and then on a tablet. It was rather complicated at the start to draw using a tablet and glacing into the monitor. With some practice I drew my first cat sample in colours and emotions. After that I‘ve started writing a poem about a cat‘s day. A week later I‘ve created my „masterpiece“. All stanzas of the poem had own picture of the cat in action.
