I live with a Danish person who has big love for art. When ever he has a small time or day off, he would wonder away to cities or countries to discover new art and artists.
During one of his trips to Greece, he discovered old traditional Carpet/Rug called Flokati. Made out of wool in different colors. Must be love at first sight because he could not stop buying them and taking long trips to find unique flokaties all over in Balkans.
Now he has over 30 pieces of flokaties in Different colors. We had to put out a small war against mots as well. Naphthalene is what keeps Mots away but in Belgium, one cannot purchase it. However, Lavender does the same job as well.
Last summer, during one of my lazy days I have decided to cover our terrace with as many as of the Flokaties as i can. My initial plan was to make it to google image but it rains a lot in Belgium. I could not keep them up on there more than days. So, my plan did not work out. Nevertheless, I wanted to share this with Bored Panda Community, I you would like it too.
