I Create Surreal Drawings That Combine Two Of My Favourite Things - Sweets And Animals

I started this personal project 'Sugar and Species, and Everything Nice' 5 years ago, when I was studying in London. As an animal lover and a food lover, I always think about the relationship between animals and our food. In London, I was exposed to many kinds of Western desserts, which inspired me to combine two of favourite things - sweets and animals. Since then, I've developed the project further and created some work inspired by the traditional confectioneries and local animals in Hong Kong (my hometown) and Japan (where I currently live). I hope these playful and quirky illustrations can satisfy your sweet tooth!:)
