They say a tiny drop holds the power to fill the ocean. Each dot has the responsibility to fill an empty space, that small dot is critical to see the full picture. Each drawing is made out of thousand of tiny dots gathered together to fill a supreme purpose- to create the essence of someone.
I use Farber-Castell pens, Prismacolor pencils on Canson paper.In my drawings, I try to enhance the essence of that person capturing their unique features, after all, we are unique in our own way.
The African culture is often swept under the rug, you hardly see someone different than the "norm" in fashion, newspapers and other social devices in a positive way, I would like to change that. African beauty needs to be celebrated and nurtured!
