With its gritty back alleys and colorful night markets, Taipei has a unique charm that you cannot see in any other city in the world. It is quite an underrated travel destination, being overshadowed by its neighbors: the eccentric Japan and the more popular Hong Kong. Well, for beginners, you get the beautiful streets of Japan and the cheap food of Hong Kong both in Taipei!
There are tons of nooks and crannies waiting to tell interesting stories if one will take a step back and pause from all the touristy things that Taipei also has to offer.
Here are a few images I've taken throughout my trip to Taipei, processed in a cinematic approach to give a more narrative-style to the visuals.
