Back in 2018. I've visited Istanbul for the first time. That was one of my dreams. But I couldn't even imagine that my favourite city on Earth will give me photography headaches. I've never seen a place so alive, buildings full of history, a city where two continents collide. But not just two continents, different cultures, lifestyles, ways of life aswell... I took a bunch of photos and found them very bad. I didn't even know how to categorize them, what to shoot first... It was like all my knowledge expired. I was overwhelmed with everything that Istanbul has to offer and I failed as a photographer. So I decided to come back again in 2019. and fix my mistake.
Edmondo De Amicis said: "Istanbul, a universal beauty where poet and archeologist, diplomat and merchant, princess and sailor, northerner and westerner screams with same admiration. The whole world thinks that this city is the most beautiful place on earth."
I couldn't agree more. Here's my second try of capturing a bit of Istanbul beauty. Enjoy and tell me what you think :)
