As a reader I have always wanted to decide what happens next in any book I read. I didn't like the fact that books go their own way and the author has all the power - I wanted to make my own choices for my favorite characters. And whoever I happened to discuss this wih always told me the same abotu themselves.
As I said, I wanted to create my stories so I started writing - mostly poetry but short stories as well. And in time I was writing more and more often and I started dreaming of writing a novel one day. But it seemed too boring for me that I alone shall decide on the destiny of so many and different characters. How was I going to surprise the readers each time? How was I going to surprise myself so that I stay excited about this novel? No idea.
Meanwhile I studied Advertising and learned a lot about marketing tools, how to engage customers in advertising communication and how important interaction and innovation are. And that's when it hit me!
I decided to write an interactive novel. The medium: it had to be social media, that's what everybody's after right now. Instagram is my favorite app so that was decided. Now...it was time to start writing!
That's how the first ever interactive social media based book 'PARALLEL' was born! It tells the story of a girl named Klara who goes on extraordinary adventures in an unusual world only to find that nothing is actually really special or one of a kind and to learn that even the wildest dreams can become true just like the worst nightmares can come alive. What will she go through? What will she choose to do? I don't know, you decide!
This is surely the weirdest form of art I have ever created or even seen but I like it and I enjoy writing together with you. Hope you would enjoy reading with me as well.
