I Am A Grown Ass Woman And I Still Love Fairies.

It's no surprise. I am a grown ass woman and I still love fairies. Who doesn't? Tales of these mythical creatures is thought to exist in almost every single culture around the world! From classic children's storybooks, to mythical fables from the English Isles, these gorgeous little sparkly creatures are "real” to me.

While learning photography, I was flipping ecstatic to learn how you can make magic happen in your own photographs. In photoshop, you can create a world, in which you can be make your own land of "make believe" and it allow that inner child to come alive. This is why I got into photography. I wanted children to believe and be children again. There is tremendous hate going on in the world. Let kids be little, for crying out loud. They grow up too darn fast.

There's some kind of magic that transpires when these images are created. These “real life” little girls enjoy being little fairies during their photo sessions. Fairies are of folklore and romance usually having diminutive human form and magic powers. I want these children to feel that power. That magic and let it shine and sparkle, baby.

This little fairy project series has been created within the past two years. I will continue to transform little girls and hopefully, even little boys in the future, into little fairies and enjoy their experiences.

When creating our fairy sessions, we bring out the lights, the glitter, the dresses, the wings and the magic. Creating a "real life" fairy experience. We want both parents and children to look back and see their littles, in a time of childhood and exploratory wonder.

Do you believe in fairies? I hope you do. We may grow up... but NEVER let that inner child die. There are still folks that believe in good. Including, all the unicorns and rainbows. What would this world be without imagination?
