Gummy Bear is a 5 year old cat who came from the Kitty Harbor no-kill shelter in West Seattle. Gummy Bear originally came from a shelter in Hermiston, Oregon where they had rescued Gummy and two other cats from poisoning. Only 3 out of the 18 cats survived the poisoning, and Gummy was the only one who did not get poisoned. There are some serious sickos out there!
Anyways, someone knocked all of kitties teeth out, but as you can see this white siamese does not care. He is still forgiving and loving as ever and happy in his brand new home! That's why we call him Gummy. If it weren't for the wonderful people at Kitty Harbor, who knows what would have happened to the couple's new friend.
One thing is for sure, the couple is grateful for Kitty Harbor, Gummy, and encourages people to adopt adult cats. Gummy had been overlooked for 3 weeks before he was adopted even though he stole everyone at the shelters hearts!
