I Accidentally Painted A Cosmic Event. (Or Eight.)

It was a typical day. Warm, with the occasional sore muscle or lost thought. Then, it happened.

"...I'm gonna paint!"

I sat down, moving faster than usual and painting brighter colors than they seemed to exist out of the tube. 8-12 hours... then 16... I lost track of time...

I kept going like I was gonna lose the light any minute. Funny thing about that, it was already dark out. Next thing I knew, 'Planes, Pillars, and Plans' had sprung to life.

Whew! Time to force-unwind with a little social, shall we?

And the shared headline read: "MASSIVE SOLAR FLARES TODAY"

...Oh. Well that explains... Yeah. It *is* really bright...

And in a flash (cringe or wink, your call.) the Supernova Collection was born! It took me a year to catch enough cosmic events to fuel this level of vivid. Sure enough, though, every time I'd manage to work on it, I'd hop back online at the end of the day to happen across some crazy news about comets, visible auroras, or most often, cosmic rays out the wazoo!

I see over a dozen shooting stars per year, I really shouldn't be too surprised. 'Space and I are bros! They throw me the inspo and I just follow the flow...'

So, I guess the message here is... don't forget to look up~ you never know what you might miss. And also, if you don't have a lemon to bite down on, a glance at these paintings might throw a little extra pep your way during the next ugh-fest retrograde.

...It is informally collected space energy, after all!
