As we were unable to create a music video with actual recordings due to Covid restrictions, we had been struggling with how to get our song, which was meant to be some kind of good vibes Lockdown Anthem (in German, sorry :P ).
I was toying around quite a bit with creating computer animations with just moving around parts of images in Software like Photoshop and thus creating a kind of digital puppet techniques.
But didn't have enough free time in those days at hand as to create a full 3.5 minute animated music video, as we were both working full time jobs. I had taken tons of notes of possible lyrics and we had bounced around many lyric snippets in messenger apps. In one drunken night I kind of played a little game with myself trying to send my better half and random folks the lyrics of the song in live speed - to great irritation of my peers that were receiving those messages. To have a funny proof I was lucky to come to the idea to record those sessions, although not many more logic and deep thoughts were possible in that state.
In the morning I woke up to a mountain of push notifications from friends reacting oddly to my drunk lyric texts - but also found recordings that already served as a music video. I only soberly added a few segments of planned recordings and voila.
