Dominican Republic Artist, Kamalky Laureano, is best known for his Hyper Realistic Portraiture. After having seen number of these paintings, these seem to be the prerequisites to produce them: 1st - Make it big, so that you can cram it with small details, that are going to make all of the difference when you look at it from a far. 2nd - Use a wide range of shades and colors, it will add to the overall finish. 3rd - Some of the most famous Realistic Artists, divide the canvas into a grid and complete one square at the time, as an example, have a look at the last picture of the post. Training your eye to pick up all of the details and reproducing them faithfully, on canvas and paper, is what will get you there eventually, with a lot of practice, of course.
