Hands always mesmerized me. I think they summarize our life journey. I am not talking about palm reading and knowing the future of people. It is about how each one of us has his journey carved and shaped his hands.
They are like the eyes, they reveal what's hidden below the surface. They are an essential part of our evolution and survival. Amazing people of our early history used it to ignite a fire, hunt, fight, and other survival actions. They are the main part that helps us to excel our skills across all the industries since the beginning of time. The palm lines in our hands unveil the underlying truth about our lives. They uncover our struggle, burden, status, and the life passage that we chose.
With these beautiful photos, I am trying to capture the details of the human hands around the world and from the different scope of life. People from tribes, villages, and cities. It was not easy for me to ask people to take these amazing photos. It was really hard. Many people described me as an idiot, crazy, an undercover police officer who is trying to take fingerprints, etc...
In the end, this is my personal best photo series. The hand photo of the Masai tribal boy (approx 3 years) is one of my best photos of all time. Have a look at it, it shows you how blessed we are.
