How To Paint Cats And Other Ideas On Enlightenment

David Hawkins talks about calibrating levels of conciousness through applied kinesiology on a scale of 1 – 1000 with 1000 being the highest level attainable by humankind. Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster are some of the masters calibrating above 700, the energy of power. 200 and below calibrates the level of force, low energy vibrations such as shame, guilt, jealousy.

This brings me to cats.

Level 500, he says is the level of a cat purring.

This is the level of Unconditional Love.

So if you are having a shit day, get a cat, put it on your lap and let it purrr.

Bam.

Instant love.

But not if you are allergic. Don’t do that. Go for a walk instead.

So this video tutorial is really about play and fun and not taking everything so seriously. It is a glimpse into my studio and painting process and….Cats.

I listened to the audio version in the kitchen when cooking and this is what made me think of painting these cats…along with the fact that Mama Cat here in our building had just given birth to seven babies. Two of which we still have in house, along with Mama. She is the one in the video lounging during the LATE NIGHT PARTY.
