We are a group of young craftsmen from Vietnam. We are passionate about crafting and making many creative handmade products. Our youtube channel is Craft Bro Channel, newly established but I believe it will be popular soon.
This video we made about Halloween. You know everyone is talking about Covid-19 this year. How scary the COVID-19 has been! Halloween is coming soon and we want to make something special – Halloween and COVID-19, what a creepy combination. What do we have for Halloween? It’ll has a castle in the forest, pumpkin, bats, corona virus, grave made from Polymer Clay.
OK let’s do it! To make a spooky castle setting in the deep forest, we used kirigami paper cutting. We need to create the background carefully with around 5-6 layers of paper. The symbols of Halloween are being recreated with a special role. First of all, we have the Bat – the henchman of Dracula and the vector for the transmission of corona virus in human. The bat made from Polymer Clay is highlight. We want to make 1 bigger bat (the king) and several smaller ones. Polymer clay remains workable until cured. Curing occurs at temperatures from 265 °F (129 °C) to 275 °F (135 °C) sustained for 15 minutes per 1⁄4 inch (6.4 mm) of thickness. This temperature is significantly less than for mineral clays and can be achieved using a home oven. The big bat needs to make a frame of steel wire and then put Poly Clay on it to be stable. Next, do the same with pumpkins. Wrap your orange clay around your pumpkin form. We'll make one infected pumpkin (it accidentally ate an infected bat). The other pumpkins are super panic now. We made one dried tree which the bat can hang on. Besides, Graves are made to enhance the scary mood. This bat looks creepy, isn’t it? He is angry because his fellow is being eaten. At the same time, he looks like a cruel witch when the pumpkin is infected (before painting, it is necessary to paint 1 primer).
Through this video, we would like to remind you about the risks of all the diseases. It’s often because of the bad habits (like eating wild animals…). Let’s join hand to raise awareness & stop the spread of the disease.
