How I Pulled Off 50 Burritos From Chipotle In One Night For Less Than $30 (Video)

My wife and I pulled off 322 Chipotle Burritos this past Halloween and have been enjoying their burritos for months.
To start, I'm an ENORMOUS fan of Chipotle with no self-control when a succulent burritos is not inside my belly. Some men lust after women. I prefer a second scoop of sweet corn salsa laid gently over juicy steak over a soft bed of cilantro lime rice. I came out of the closet years ago about my addiction to this company of bold flavors. In time, my friends began to support me through gift cards which has only fed my desire for more Chipotle. You can only imagine my excitement when I discovered their Halloween discount just a few years ago. However, a devilish idea occurred to me.
After sitting there eating my burrito alone, while my friends texted impatiently at the Halloween party I had skipped, I pondered if I this new idea was even feasible. For 12 months I tried to suppress it till on the next Halloween I bought my discounted burrito along side the love of my life. I eventually leaned over to my wife with a single question, "Hey, what's stopping us from going down the street to the other Chipotle?" She timidly thought, paused, and answered, "No".
Our lives changed in that moment. Every year since, we began pushing the boundaries of visiting more and more Chipotles on Halloween. Other friends soon heard of our deeds and before you know it, they were joining us too. Naturally, it was inevitable before we recorded our journey to all the Chipotles here in Kansas City, MO. I even wondered if we could beat our record if we choose to record. With around 15 Chipotles spread throughout the Kansas City area and surrounding cities, we knew in 2017 that this would be our biggest caper yet.
The rest is in the video. We pulled off 322 Chipotle Burritos. Our friends were hit or miss with multiple locations which prevented everyone from hitting all 9 locations. Either way, all burritos were distributed evenly in our group and enjoyed for months to come. #MillennialFoodPrepping
I thoroughly recommend this idea for anyone who are on a tight budget, simply love a chain with multiple locations around their city, or don't want to go to another boring Halloween party.
PLEASE NOTE: if you are hitting up multiple Chipotles on Halloween, double everything and avoid the following:
1) Cheese
2) Lettuce
3) Sour Cream
The burrito bowls came out to $3.33 per person with doubling everything which makes for even more burritos. Simply add cheese once the food has cooled down and about to be wrapped in the burrito. We found reheating with already melted cheese isn't good in the later months.
Finally, I recommend poking holes in the burritos just before you wrap them with paper towels and parchment paper. Then microwave 2 of them for 5-6 minutes. To make them even better add lettuce, sour cream, and salsa after reheating them for a fresher taste.
Bon Appétit!
Sincerely,
Joe Fountain
