La Peau Sauvage is an ongoing project where I photograph women of all ages and body types to make them realize how beautiful they are.
The idea came from my deepest, darkest thoughts about my self-image, which always made me question why we are so harsh on ourselves. I've been suffering from an eating disorder for the past 17 years; a roller coaster of emotions with a countless amount of ups and downs -- something I wouldn't want anyone to ever feel.
The project goal is to make women appreciate their bodies and find beauty in diversity. Hopefully, I will bring light into their lives and show them a different perspective of themselves.
The following photos are some of my personal favourites. These women are artists, writers, role models. They are beautiful, powerful, and an inspiration to me. I hope they will inspire you, too.
