You know how the first rule of improv is to say "Yes and"?
It describes that, to tell a cool story collaboratively, you have to take what your partners give you and add something to it. Anything...
The others will (hopefully) do so as well and in the end you will have a story, that nobody of you could have played out/written alone.
I learned that years ago but never was it made more clear to me than with this facebook-post. A good friend of mine posted something from "Welcome to the Night Vale" and instantly my friends decided to hop on and do a roleplay with it... no questions, no introductions, just... telling a story. Together... and everybody, and i totally love this, just took, what every other person wrote and included it, added to it. It got a crazy dynamic and a kinda Rick-and-Morty-vibe for me and now, they are all gone... to Save Haven 32a... maybe we hear from them again. Maybe we will write a Roleplaying-Setting out of this. Maybe this dimension will be terminated tomorrow. ;)
I love my crazy and oh so creative social bubble where we can create stories and worlds together.
I hope you have as much fun reading it as we had, writing it. :)
