Madilyn Dianna was brought into my Houston baby photographer studio by her parents, Jesse and Angela. She was just 6 days old at the time of her session, and she was such a little cutie. Madilyn was born March 21, 2017 and weighed 7.15 pounds.
I love hearing how couples start their journey together. Jesse and Angela met in Bible study class and while on a retreat, they were paired for a 1980s skit where the main song was Jesse's Girl. A week later, they enjoyed their first date, and knew instantly that they were going to be married. They've been together for almost 3 years and have a beautiful daughter in their lives.
For her nursery, they didn't want to do a traditional pink color scheme, so they chose a blanket with coral, gray and navy blue with teal accents. It was perfect because they love bright colors. They based the nursery around the blanket, which sounds like a terrific inspiration piece.
Mom requested that we use a pink fabric for her background, and I'm happy she suggested it because Madilyn looked like a princess on it. These parents are completely smitten with their little girl, and who could blame them. She's too adorable. For this baby photographer session, all the tiebacks were from one of my favorite vendors, which is Edna Magdalene.
They wanted to focus on the family as a whole together, and the shots were wonderful. The family images are always some of my favorite shots since you can feel the love radiating from new parents as they hold the newest addition to their family. Madilyn looked incredibly sweet in her mother's arms while they're both being held by Dad.
It was a delight to meet the entire family, and they were adorable together. They have a beautiful little girl and a bright future ahead of them. I wish them all the best, and it's my hope that they'll bring her back to my baby photographer studio for more sessions in the future.
