When asked about the inspiration behind it, Maxiscoolerthanyou, the creator of the subreddit, shared a simple childhood memory: "One of my favorite childhood memories is being in the back of the car, looking out the window while we were driving somewhere. It was a rare, random comedy moment when one of my siblings or I would point out a sign accidentally saying something funny."
When asked if they have any personal favorite posts or stories from the subreddit, Maxiscoolerthanyou shared this one because it's “a coincidence that it still makes sense, but in a different number system”.
Moderating a community like misLED can be quite an adventure. There's a lot to love about it, but if Maxiscoolerthanyou had to pick just one thing, it would be that there's never really any drama or anything serious. "I’ve never moderated a sub before, and I’m really glad it was one that I came up with as well, rather than being made a mod by someone else on an already existing sub."
