HELP I NEED IDEAS.
So if you read my bio, you know I'm attempting to write a story. It's a flawless, three simple step plan, really:
1. Write a New York Times bestseller
2. Get it noticed by the Hollywood overlords
3. Sell it to some studio with the following conditions: make sure the movie adaptation stays true to the book and that I get to go with the cast and crew on set.

So, my story's about a 16 year old kid who feels out of place. He's the son of his country's prime minister, his mom. He's being trained to carry on his mom's political legacy someday, but his heart isn't set in it, as he sees the corruption, and eventually, the danger, in politics.
Two other countries go to war, which begins to have global consequences. In his own country, it begins to show the faults in the government, and slowly, everything his mother has worked for starts to crumble away. I want his character arc to have something to do with making a decision of whether to use the chaos as a way to pursue the life of his dreams as a normal teen or to stay and help keep his mom's life's work from crashing down.
Pitch in please! Hearing other people's idea will help my fantasy world more relatable.
