If you've resolved it, tell us how! If you haven't, I'll see if I can help.

Actually planning out and editing. Then going back and fixing my work. I am a person who writes as they go so taking time to go back and look at what I already wrote is tough to get myself into.

I consider myself very good at making fleshed-out characters, but I'm struggling with what I call the Eris (one of my characters) effect- if they're one of Eris's partners, their story arc becomes pretty much only about their relationship with Eris. Eris obviously would be delighted to hear this but I need characters that have a character arc on their own. Fen specifically has this problem- their character development hinges on their relationship with Eris. Rez has a minor version of it, but since they were created as eris's love interest and aren't a main character its less important (sorry rez we love you but you aren't as important as fen). I'm working on this but it's not really getting any better sadly. It's not necessary, as they do have a good arx and character, it's just that their arc is driven by someone else.

Putting the first and last word down. I have trouble starting due to me not knowing how to even begin, and once I do it is so hard to stop. I love writing so much. I especially love research papers.
