That you can be alive if you get skinned "correctly" meaning don't peirce any veins or arteries and you then die of dehydration since our skin is ment to protect our meat from becoming dry and dying. That was an early evolution so that animals could walk on land without dieing. I just know for certain that you can get skinned and still be alive and not die from blood loss.
