TV show Grace and Frankie…. There was so much traffic on the stairs!!

I know this girl who recently moved to another country and got a job there. She was running very late on her first day because she wasn't used to their public transport system. So she just called in and said that she had just been hit by a car.

One employee got drunk and came to work at 7pm instead of 7am. He set off the building alarm and caused a bunch of inconvenience. He showed up late to work the next day and joked, I thought it was 7pm. Everyone laughed, even HR.

I once heard a guy say "Sorry I am late, I ran into a bad excuse".

'I thought it was Sunday!' When she was 3 hours late on a Tuesday.

“Wifi is down” literally everybody used that excuse last year in online school

She didn’t leave excuses at all. No call-ins, nothing. Then she’d show up the next day and act like nothing happened. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to cover her shift before she finally got fired. Good riddance.

"My grandma was washing my clothes." The person that said this was twenty three years old.

Had an employee, who was already in trouble for being late all the time, call and say she was trapped at an intersection by a long freight train. That may work in Barstow, but not in the city that WE ALL LIVED IN TOO! There are no trains like that around here! Moron!

Coworker used the I forgot to change the clock ( but carries her phone everywhere)

this is not on being late but in middle school band someone did not have there bell cover and he said that he got locked inside of popeyes and forgot to get it.
