Said by a school counselor who I have a mandatory meeting with for leaving my intermediate school 😢

I was working on a project for school, I was making a large cardboard shield with a family crest I was designing as a vehicle for my assignment (quotes that represent you presented in a creative way. You could read them off the back of the shield while holding it.)

I was wondering which animal I wanted to have on my crest, a badger, a fox or a bear. I do t remember the significance of the other two, but I was leaning towards a bear because they represent family and because I lost my father at 12 me and my mother were very close. I asked my friend which animal I should use and he told me definitely not a bear. When I asked why, he said he didn’t want to offend me. I asked again, and he said people would make fun of me because I “have a similar body type.” Thanks dude you’re not skin and bones yourself?
