I know plenty useless things, and one that I can laugh about with history majors is about the jester Triboulet. He is one of the best jesters in my opinion. He slapped King Louis XII on the butt and defended his actions with "I thought you were the queen!" but still got in trouble and sentenced to death. They let him pick his death, and the jester said he wanted to die of old age and kept living XD
