We all know that at some point in our lives, we hear a conversation we wish we never had. What did you hear that you regret?

When I was probably about 15, and still in bed on a Sunday morning, I heard my dad say to my stepmother, "did mrsfettsvette get her fat a*s out of bed yet?" Implying not only that I was lazy, but fat. I wasn't either, but to hear that as a struggling young girl with undiagnosed ADHD and an eating disorder, it absolutely crushed me. It still affects how I act in front of my parents and how I see myself through their eyes. My dad insists he never said those words and it's pointless to keep arguing about it. But I still talk about my f****d up body image and relationship with food today in therapy. It's a lot better, but it was bad for many years.

I wish I hadn’t heard that my grandparents once got so horny, but didn’t have any condoms, so they used a sandwich baggy and a rubber band. Now I bet you wish you hadn’t heard that either!
