I have an early version of a 3-D viewer, with about twenty world postcards. The viewer still has perfect optics , angled separately for double vision, and a working handle to adjust position to see the cards. Cards are built of one photo, which is then duplicated. The two are then printed side by side on the card, one (identical) picture for each eye to focus on. The card holder adjusts farther or closer from the viewer to improve focus. It has no information on it for guessing it’s age, but the card with the Brooklyn bridge on it suggests the bridge was fairly new at the time. That would make the viewer possibly circa 1890’s ??

I have a mahogany secretary that is over 100 years old. I turned it into my vanity and it’s the centerpiece of my master bedroom.
It’s my favorite piece of furniture.
