Ik that song is about a toy but it heavily reminds me of a best friend of mine that friend-dumped me a few years back. It’s really relatable because we were very clingy with each other, and I did always feel like I was her shoulder to cry on, but she never really returned the favor. The part of the song when the lyrics talk about the girl loving the toy again, reminds me of after the friendship ended, because I felt so alone, but my other old best friend saved my butt. I like it when you can switch up the perspective and meaning of songs.
