Hey Pandas, What Would Be Your Book Recommendation For A Teenager? (Closed)

Hi! I’m a young person just looking for new stuff to read! If anyone could tell me their favorite YA novel, that would be so amazing. Thanks!

I looooooovvvvvvveeeee books sooooo much!!! I read lots of books a day. I recommend, all Rick Riordan series: Heroes of Olympus, Trails of Apollo, Magnus Chase, The Kane Chronicles. The 39 clues are awesome and so are Harry Potter books. One of my favourites and I highly recommend is the Ranger's Apprentice series (they are amazing).

Besides Harry potter of course, I'd reccomend the Giver by lois lowry.The book thief and Anne of green gables are also good recommendations.If you don't mind classics you should also read Jane Eyre, Rebecca and little women .

Once your're 18, I'd reccomend the nightingale by Kristen Hannah, The kite runner and Beartown by Fredrik backman.

The Collector Collector by Tibor Fischer, utterly original, very funny and so rich in the journeys it takes you on. And you can’t beat Paul Coehlo’s The Alchemist as a must read book of self discovery.

I don’t read a lot of YA fiction but there is a trilogy I enjoyed by S. C Ransom. Book #1 Small blue thing, #2 Perfectly Reflected and #3 Scattering like light.

"Os filhos da droga" by Christiane F. (Zoo station in english and german I believe). It's kind of brutal but I read it at 13 or 14 and it really kept me out of danger by scaring me enough not to ever consider trying drugs. I think today's kids don't reflect enough about the consequences of some behaviors envolving drugs and alcohol

7. Divergent series though I personally feel that the ending was not fulfilling.

YESSSS!!! BOOKS!!!! Here we go... All Rick Riordan series (start with Percy Jackson and the Olympians) then of course The Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner, The Mortal Instruments, the classic Harry Potter, The Fault In Our Stars, I could go on and on!!!!!!!!! Omg I am such a fangirl, is it normal for me to completely fall in love with all the male characters 😆😏😫
