Watched a movie about the moon crashing into earth as a kid (maybe at age 7 or so). One night a few weeks later we were on the road and came across the "Moon illusion" - the optical illusion which causes the Moon to appear larger near the horizon.
I thought our days are numbered.

I would never stand right next to my bed, afraid something would grab my ankle . I'd always run and then jump onto the bed.

That my mother would actually, literally kill me. She was always physically violent/abusive to me (and my father), and she once pressed a gun to the underside of my chin when I was 6 and said she would unalive me. When I told my teacher about it at school the next day, and the principal called my parents in for a meeting, my mom lied and said I'd seen it in a movie and was making it up. I lived in constant fear that she would chop my hands and feet off with a butcher's knife/cleaver - I had precedent; she used to use a knife to cut my dad's back and arms. I wish I was exaggerating. Anyway! She's somehow still alive and ngl, I STILL fear her physical abuse even though she is 79 🙃

Spiders and whirlpools. Particularly draining pools and empty pools. They creeped me out. Thought I'd get sucked in if the pool drained while I'm in it.
