A "baby" cardinal visits out backyard everyday. He's larger than both mom and dad though they still feed him, looks disheveled because he's transitioning feathers, and flaps his wings as he chirps constantly. Couldn't be cuter, I get giddy everytime I see him.

My younger daughter, now a senior in high school played the female lead Audrey in the musical “Little Shop Of Horrors”, and absolutely killed it! I knew she’d be good, but I was still absolutely astounded by how great she was. I know I’m biased and proud, but she completely owned the role.

In the mornings my friend group meets up in the library before school since a lot of us don't have classes together. Yesterday one of my friends introduced a game where you draw a picture based on a sentence and people have to guess what you were drawing. It's super fun and everybody was laughing by the end of it. We were teasing other for being slow or drawing badly and making fun of some sentences. It was really fun. We did it again today and I hope we keep doing it.

My school orchestra performed the Star-Spangled Banner at the minor league baseball stadium Tuesday, and then I got to watch the game with my friends!

Since I work full-time, I don't get too much "quality" time with my 4-year-old grandson. I took him to the park yesterday and let him run and play on the playground, then we took a walk on the pathway/trail around this beautiful 200-acre park. It was a wonderful 3 hours.
