If you’re neurotypical, you might not understand this. Stims are repetitive actions neurodivergent and autistic people do to stimulate themselves. This prevents burnout and irritation. If you are neurodivergent or autistic or know someone who is, share some stims.

I will….
1. Beat my tongue against my teeth
2. Chew on stuff (mainly my watch)
3. Punch something (usually soft, but sometimes I get desperate)
4. Say beep.
Also if I’m happy I stick my tongue out and pant like a dog. It’s why I’m Happi Doggi.

2) ball my fingers in a little and flick them out repeatedly
3) bounce my leg
4) when I'm laying on my stomach at home I bounce my thighs lol
5) flick my feet around
