Unpopular opinion: BP shouldn't have created this thread at all. "Unpopular opinion" threads are just excuses to launch your stupid homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, etc into existence. And we could all do with the non-existence of a few of these posts.

My unpopular opinion is that Pitbulls are terrible dogs. The reason some people think they are is because they have extremely strong instincts that are very hard for them to control. However, if they are trained properly they can be one of the sweetest breeds. I get why this is an unpopular view because lots of people don't know that it is because of instincts that they are aggressive/they want to be aggressive.

Marriage before sex

All drugs should be legal. People who choose not to do drugs, don't do it because they are illegal. They do it because they don't want to do drugs. Make all drugs legal, will reduce crime (no more fighting over gang territory) , and fatalities as they will be cut safely. Could use it like in Oregon where people dependent on Class A could be on register and be checked on and get support they need.

Mine is that nobody past 40 has any business purposely becoming biological parents. The children have a greatly increased risk of autism and Down syndrome.

Books for literature classes in school are not classics. In fact, they're dumb. The only way they define depth in a work is at least one of the main characters has to die, either tragically or prematurely. Think "Where the Red Fern Grows," "Flowers for Algernon," etc. And "Lord of the Flies" was idiotic in its very premise. Leave a bunch of schoolboys alone without adult supervision and they go feral? No kidding; I saw plenty of that when the monitors on the school yard turned their attention away for one second during recess.

Oh, and Star Wars sucks. I've held that opinion since 1979.

I think Biden was the wrong choice. Now I hate Trump, really, he’s an ass. BUT comparing him to Biden and looking ahead four years I really think Trump, as crappy a president as he was, would have been better. I can really see why people would want Biden, seeing as Trump is a major douche 99% of the time, but I feel if we had stopped and really looked we would have seen that neither Biden nor Harris, while definitely quieter and less prone to Twitter, are better. I don’t know, give it four years and I might be proved wrong, please don’t come for me with fire, I just think that with two cruddy candidates, we picked the easier choice over the wiser. (I can’t blame y’all too much, four more years of trump would have been obnoxious for all of us).

People who criticize other rich people: The majority of rich people became rich by having an idea nobody else had before. Or they created their own company putting everything on it starting from nothing. So if you want what they have, create your company and work hard. Nobody is becoming successful without extremely hard working.

I think birth control should be placed in the drinking water and everyone who wants to be a parent should be evaluated for mental health issues first. People shouldn't have children if they can't love and care for them.
