Ive always loved traditional british folklore and mythical creatures, i had a book of it when i was little. Some of the scottish and welsh mythical creatures are really scary and awesome!

My favorite stories as a little kid were the ELOISE books by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight. I never liked fairytales.

Little Kitten Finds the Moon. It had glittery accents in each page, which made it even better for 3-year-old me :)

I absolutely love Cressida Cowells books! Especially how to train your dragon but also the wizards of once series.
