8th grade band. This one percussionist would spend the entire class searching the back for whatever he could find, and would ask the teacher if he could eat it. He found stuff like a crayon and valve oil, and we had some weird discussions about what his poop would look like.

seventh grade advanced band, i very specifically remember my band teacher saying, and i quote: ‘c’mon guys, leggo my eggo, what’re you waiting for!’ and i remember absolutely DYING of laughter when people had to clap for songs
