Trial by (social) media.
If someone has actually done something wrong, and there is actual evidence to show that they have done wrong then they should face consequences but cancelling/boycotting/or vilifying people on the basis of unproven accusations or simply because they are associated, or once worked with someone who has done wrong or comes from a country or race that is unpopular right now is ridiculous. By all means punish the guilty but allegations are not evidence or proof. There are two sides to every story and in-between them is the truth.
