Hey Pandas, What Is The Stupidest Advice You Have Been Given?

To just smile, context, I was really depressed. Gee thanks for the dumb advice, smiling doesn’t help depression at all.

Here’s some sh**ty advice. “That men are stupid and useless.”

First off we aren’t useless. Second, why the f**k do you think that were all stupid. Third, we work our asses off to provide and care for the family. Fourth, we aren’t all bad and we do care. Fifth, 90% of the time we ain’t the problem. Finally, being a man is ok as long as it isn’t toxic.

If there is an emergency at school, like a school shooting or real life fire, you can’t be in your phone. It must be in your bag. You text your parents and say”check the school website im gonna die” that’s all ur supposed to do. He’s my opinion. FCK that SHT. No way. I’m calling my parents and getting the hell outta there. That’s stupid.

"Just don't react to bullies, they will go away if you don't react." While this is true to some degree, reacting will *sometimes* make them learn a lesson and quit doing it, confronting bullies works sometimes.

Someone told me to go and fix that birdhouse out back because guests where coming over and it’s a mess. Then they brought me a warped ladder. I promptly and stupidly fell off a 6 meter high tree for the 4538th time in my life.

I'm sure alot of women, especially 30+ that don't have or want kids can relate to unsolicited opinions on their uterus. I don't want kids, and have been asked 'why' or 'you should reconsider' etc. The dumbest piece of advice about this issue ice received from a regular customers at the restaurant I used to work at was "You should have a child even if you don't want one now because you will regret it". I think that isn't a good reason to get pregnant because on the off chance I'll regret it later on. 🙄

It doesn’t matter what you have a degree in, you can get a good job as long as you have a 4 year degree. B*llsh*t. What a waste of my money and time.

Absolutely not, the only people who's notifications go through while I'm at school are my parents and best friend, neither of whom would call me for no reason. There's literally no way I'm not going to pick it up and make sure they're okay.

My career choice doesnt require college, being a stand-up comeidan. sure other arts do, but this doesnt, most comics do have college degrees. but I can pass with a high school degree or GED. not everyone goes to college that has a job, stop telling me this. I still have 5-6 1/2 years to figure this out. im only 12.
