Hey Pandas, What Is Something You Found Out About Recently That Infuriated You?

My sperm donor bolted the state when I was 3. He didn’t pay child support and I had a horrible childhood. Homeless being the worst part. I just learned I might have a sister. He raised her. He’s paying for her college. And he refers to me as “HER daughter” when talking about me and my mom. I don’t know for sure but she commented on a picture of sperm donor and said “lol look at dad” before my cousin removed the post completely. I have no relationship with him and I don’t plan to. Ever. I don’t want her either. So why the f*ck am I even mad? Idk.

In class we are reading passages from midnight: A book written by Elie Wiesel, it tells his story while he was in the Auschwitz and Buchenwald concentration camps during world war 2. Why am I infuriated? I checked some review sites for it out of curiosity, and the reviews are quite good, although with quite a few 1 star reviews. Again why am I infuriated? I am infuriated because this man’s work about his haunting time in the concentration camps is getting 1 star reviews by the hundreds because school children aren’t “entertained enough”, or saying “this is the most boring part of ww2.” (You’re not supposed to be entertained by war!) As a student I myself am ashamed, and this for some reason just rubs me the wrong way.
