"Do unto others what THEY would like done." This one helped me realize that not everyone wants what I would want. It is important to find out what other people need and want and not get hung up on thinking everyone wants what I would want.

I always say "God Hates a Coward." when I am preparing myself to do anything stressful and for me it calms me and prepares me. I know it isn't the phrase that does it, but for me mentally I have to do this. The funniest part is, I am an atheist.
